Things to do in Cherating

As in my previous post on The Legend Resort Cherating, I'd mentioned a few places you can visit and some fun activities to do around Cherating, besides the non-stop awing to the beautiful beach and swimming in the clear sea water. So here's the experiences that I gained on my 3 days trip.

Visit Turtle Santuary and Information Centre and released baby turtles

First of all, please please please spend some of your precious time visiting the Turtle Sanctuary and Information Center in Cherating. The turtle sanctuary is a protected area, managed by the Department of Fisheries Malaysia with the cooperation of the Pahang State Government. At the sanctuary, you'll get a lot of information on turtle awareness and take note that this is important in a way to help saving sea turtles from extinction. Besides the video shows and information, the turtle sanctuary also offers turtle hatching and releasing hatchling to the sea programmes.
