Gaya Street was originally named Bond Street which is the centre of shop-houses business area in the Kota Kinabalu town. The Gaya Street is closed to traffic on Sunday morning to give ways for the local to sell their goods in the flea market.
Gaya Street Sunday Market is one of famous Kota Kinabalu must visit place. Opens every Sunday morning as early as 6.00 am until 1.00 pm, Gaya Street Sunday Morning attracts tourist for the traditional food, handicraft and souvenir to be brought home. Local people also come here every now and then to buy the variety of thing such as household item, fruits, herbs and pet.

ReplyDeleteI have been here and I love it too because it's a very neat market! I also saw the rabbits and puppies for sale and enjoyed the walk down the entire pasar. :) Brings back good memories.
So cute the rabbits, right? I missed this place so much. will surely plan to visit the market if I have a chance to go to KK again. :D
