If you missed the cultural show organized by the Penang State Tourism & Culture Committee at Esplanade in July, do not despair! The month of August promises an exciting time in Penang with its scheduled multicultural performances and other upbeat entertainment every Saturday of the month to bring family and friends to. The effort by the State to install cultural performances and other entertainment at a fixed location like Esplanade is to create a more exciting atmosphere in Penang when the weekends arrive, to attract more tourists and locals to one of Penang's popular heritage spots and also to promote the essence of Penang to the world.

One of it is the Malay culture of Penang will be seen through the Boria and Malay Cultural Dance Show on 15th August 2009. This performance will show the true roots of the Malay Culture in Penang with its colourful costumes and friendly approaches.
