Nasi Kandar Line Clear, Penang

Location : Penang Road, Penang

Nasi Kandar is a meal, originated from Penang and back then, was sold by men who kandar (put on the shoulder) the dishes. But, now it seems that they only sell in the diner. It is basically a meal of rice with dishes that are mostly curry - fishes, chicken and beef - or other gravy that cooked with Indian herb and spices and also vegetables like cabbage and ladyfinger.

If you are a nasi kandar lover, there is a place in Penang called Nasi Kandar Line Clear that you should go and try. It is one of the very authentic nasi kandar can be found in the city and has been existed for more than 4o years.

Nasi kandar Line Clear opens 24 hours a day. It is located at a very narrow alley off the Penang Road. You could've missed it if you don't look for it properly. The place might be a bit cramped, but the food...ummmmpphh!! Seriously they don't taste like the nasi kandar you used to eat at the outsize nasi kandar restaurant.

and the workers are so friendly!

Wall of fame.

Famous people also come here. There are pictures of composer Azmeer, Aswad AF4, and most famous JJ and Ean the Hitz.fm Morning Crew.
